Action Plan

I would say that one of my strengths is drawing, though I haven't been doing as much of it recently as I would like. I find it really hard however to draw using a graphics tablet on the computer, it feels so different from using a pencil! As creative technology is changing so quickly I think I should start trying to draw more on the computer to develop my skills there.

I think one of my weaknesses is not being aware of what is going on in the advertising world. I only tend to pay attention to advertisements on the television that stick in my mind due to the music or interesting content. I will subscribe to campaign magazine which is weekly and will broaden my knowledge of advertising campaigns in different media. The presentations we did made me realise I need to know more about advertising history so I will research on the internet and read some relevant books. I also need to improve presentation skills, which I hope will happen as we present more in the future.

I tend to go for the easy option with things when creating final pieces, so I think I need to be more adventurous and open minded. I hope to see the themes of my work getting broader in future projects.
